UK ONLY – why aren’t ‘Your Parking Space’ bookings reflecting in my centre’s parking occupancy or revenue?

Your Parking Space bookings are designed to serve as supplementary revenue, if you have any gaps in demand from your internal customers. When there is no in-house customer demand we still have to pay landlords for the parking spaces, so we offer lower rate bookings to external customers to support this cost rather than suffering a loss.

Parking Revenue:
Since Your Parking Space bookings are handled centrally, and not an effort of the centre team, it will not be included in your parking revenue. Instead, in order to contribute to your centre revenue targets you should aim to sell all parking spaces to your in-house customers. 

Parking Occupancy:
Your Parking Space bookings are not listed on your parking occupancy because we want your inventory to be readily available for in-house customers to have priority. This way, if an in-house customer requests parking we are able to add this in the system and terminate the Your Parking Space booking with only 24 hours notice. This is why Your Parking Space is usually a cheaper rate, as it is subject to cancellation at short notice.
