Why do I get an ‘Out of policy’ exception deal error when amending a renewal price in TeamHub?

This is because you entered a price that is too low for the renewal agreement, and is out of policy.

All renewals have available discounts you can use as a last resort if your customer is requesting to terminate unless the price is reduced.

Here is how you can view these pricing discounts:

  1. Select the information icon next to ‘Override price’:

2. For your override price, you cannot enter a value which is lower than the ‘Out of policy. Exception deal’ pricing, for the given term.

If your override price is equal to or higher than the available tier pricing discount but you still receive the error message and are unable to proceed with the renewal OSA, please raise an IT ticket.
